Just started watching the video about the future of our universe from the other post. Frankly after the first Trillion years into the future it lost me but I did wonder one thing in particular.
WTF do I give myself such a hard time about cleaning our windows???? Just finished the back of the house apart from the outside of the 2 bedrooms. My wife says don't worry about getting the ladders out as it involves dragging heavy wooden ladders through the house and most of the time spent in there it's either dark or your asleep or both 🙄 I on the other hand give myself a hard time about it even though I only did them around the start of the lockdown 🙄🙄🙄🙄
Also don't get me started on why they look fine when I've done them but come tomorrow when the sun's on them ill see streaks and odd marks!!!! 🙁I'm too tight to pay someone but in the grand scheme of things does it matter and who else cares anyway 🙄

Lived in my house for over 20 years and I’m yet to wash the windows, that’s what rain does

I was a window cleaner for about 5 years and used to think it was a total waste of money. Never told the punters that though 😂

Time spent washing windows is time lost for cycling.
I don’t care what The Jones’ think and it rains a lot in this country 🙂

I’ll clean the bay window in the lounge which has a cracking view.

The rest can go **** themselves.

What really pissed them off was when they realised you was earning over £1 a minute splashing water over their windows. 😁

I thought this last time I cleaned the oven. Any germs/dirt just gets incinerated anyway. Haven't bothered since.

I used to be a window cleaner when i was in my 20s.
I moved into a house that my mil had lived in, and set about cleaning the windows, which looked like they hadn’t been done for several years at least.
When mil came to visit, she asked if we had repainted the whole house as it was so much brighter inside.
She didn’t believe me when i told her the real reason.

Some Guy I've never met comes round once a month and does them, I send him £7 For doing them and have clean windows to look out of most of the time.

Seems like a decent deal for an easy life (and clean windows to look out of)

Spray dilute MucOff on them and hose. Does a great job.

I knew my oven really needed a clean, I'd been putting it off. It broke and so I bought another instead - made me feel like a winner.

There's loads of bird shit all over mine, and all over the cars, the house needs hoovering and the bathrooms are manky. Hmmmm, maybe next week. My bikes and my shed are spotless.
