Just noticed an odd floating banner thing across the page, it sits across the bottom, but when you scroll down the page it jumps up and floats right across the page. Not as bad as the bloody Maserati and Tudor Watch ads, but still irritating.
They do at least have a little 'x' so they can be deleted, but why have they suddenly appeared?
This one is clearly connected to the post subject, pond liners.

As I've said before, I'm fine with ads, no issues at all, until they become intrusive and spoil the usability and overall user experience of the forum.
Doesn't matter, you won't be reading the forum now that you have a sudden inexplicable urge to buy a pond liner and get out in the garden with a spade, right?
I've got it too, sent a report about it last night (surely, [i]surely[/i] it's not supposed to be there? No right minded website would allow them out of choice, would they?).
I use frowned upon means to make the internet useable on the computer but that thing floating around all over the place (once you've accidentally clicked all the adverts that take ages to load and get taken to adserve.de or wherever it is because you've tried clicking a link to a thread but the ad then loads and jumps everything down the page) will probably stop me browsing STW away from the computer.
I've not weighed in on any of the advert threads before but this whatever it is is annoying.

Mine are at least relevant. Although the one on the page right now says Dual Sport Tyres, whatever the hell they are.
