I got three:

Brother in the Land - Robert Swindells

Bodies - Jed Mercurio

And, State of Emergency - Dominic Sandbrook

I cracked open Brother in the Land about half an hour go and have blistered through 47 pages already. No pun intended ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

As a joke Mrs C. bought me "Cider with Rosie". I did this in English Lit 'O' Level and hated it with a passion. Be interesting to see if I still feel the same about it.

The Secret Race (Tyler Hamilton)

I really enjoyed this, I was lucky enough to read it before Armstrong confessed, which made it all the more readable.

Takisawa2, any chance of a title or author as it sounds right up my street for a bit of armchair adventuring.
Thanks

Wildlife Photographer of the Year 23 from Mrs - to add to the previous 22 years editions. Tradition requires me to spend Boxing Day leafing thru it, with a large G'n'T to hand.
