Sorry to depress you, but the changing of the clocks is not equidistant both sides of the solstice, therefore it takes longer to get out of the dark than into it ๐Ÿ˜ฅ

only as we measure it. the days do get longer from the winter solstice, and shorter from the summer solstice, irrespective of how we set our clocks
