Maybe his sense of humour is a bit too developed to find Top Gear Peugeot Parodies funny. Which, to be fair, wouldn't be too much of a stretch.

Possibly.

But hounding other people to explain why they found it funny is a bit weird.

I found it funny because the things they did and said were, err, funny. Apart from the bits that weren't as funny but they weren't as funny because they weren't as funny.

I think it helps if you have been unfortunate enough to have owned one. I've owned two one a 309 great car and a 306 diesel. The 306 would un alarm itself and wind all the windows down in the middle of the night. When it wasn't being repaired it was great, one week out of every four it spent in the garage.

I've owned 2 a 306 D Turbo which was lovely not without faults but no big ones. Later I got a 307 HDi not as good as the 306 but was Ok, then it started to wrong, gear box twice, injectors and numerous electrical problems all fixed then got rid of it.

Their cars got even worse after that my Bro. had a 3008 as work car it was bloody awful. My sister in law has had 2 or 3 208s and while they look nice enough they have been poor. Her current one has had loads of issues so is getting dumped soon.

I had a 205 Lacoste Limited Edition.

The engine inexplicably stopped working one day because the vacuum seal for the sunroof had corroded. What was surprising was that my girlfriend's dad (not a mechanic) somehow managed to diagnose it.
