In a minibus.
Well alright, not a driving test but a driving assessment.
'Only' had 5 minors too. (the average for my assessor is 7) They all were related to 'experience'. Like every time you even release the handbrake you look over each shoulder, never cross your hands over the wheel, check both mirrors every 4 seconds (even if your'e driving across Canada where there's no traffic for 20 miles) hand position on the wheel should be 10 to 2 or 1/4 to 3, & not checking your'e mirrors enough. That was it. We didn't even bother going on the M/way cos he said we didn't need to.
Plus I also know the correct way to secure a wheelchair in the back!

Happy me. Just thought I'd say. 8)

Hands at 9&3 if the steering wheel has an airbag apparently, 10/2 broken wrist potentially. Was news to me.

Congrats...

i did my b1+e a few weeks ago, actually learnt quite alot . had some bad habits like you i didnt look over m y shoulder initially....he asked why. told him ive spent 10 years driving vans with no back windows.

i managed no minors in the actual test . was happy with that 😀

shit feeling having someone watching your driving close though.

According to my "passed in 1990" licence I can drive a minibus already, and a tractor. Sadly not a tank. A friend who's a bit older can drive one though.

Passed my test in 1974!
I bet kids are doing ancient history lessons about that year.

Not too bad though, only had one 'endorsement' for a faulty handbrake in 1996 & a SP30 in 2011.

Anyway, if your'e in North Yorkshire & you spot a North Yorks CC minibus full of screaming kids/old ladies/sight impaired/wheelchair users...... 8)
