Basically I need somewhere to live that is commutable to Stockport, a decent local that serves food on slates or wooden boards, preferably a modern thinking brewery that playes with hops and sours, a good LBS and nice place to live, any ideas?

Time is up with the colonial commoners and I'm coming back 🙂

Macclesfield. I live here and house prices are reasonable, there’s a decent bike shop in town and anothe in Congleton. Sutton Hall is a good eatery with a fine selection of bourbons and Red Willow brewery has its own pub. Good riding on the doorstep too
