Daughter (20) has asked for a smar****ch for her birthday.

Criteria are....
Has HRM built in
Step counter/activity tracker
Some sort of message alert/alarm function
Ideally with a round/square face
Smallish size as she has very slender wrists
Not gold/pink
No need for GPS
Budget ideally sub £75

Any suggestions gratefully received before I spend an evening googling and getting confused.

Budget may be an issue, but Garmin Forerunner 30 or 35 might be an option. Will have gps though.

Edit £100

Or £117 on Amazon

If that's a "want" and not a "must have", the Xiaomi Mi Band 5 will do all that. Loads of cheap swappable bands available too if that's of interest.

The Amazfit Bip gets good reviews, although I've not personally tried it:

Polar A370 to go against the (no doubt incoming) Garmin crowd!

No built in GPS but can use phones if needed.
