For the last decade I have always ended up in Christmas holidays doing my tax return...Last year I resolved to do it quickly. I managed it within a week or so of letter iirc.
Today, having received my letter on Thursday, I have got mine in and submitted (and I hadn't lost my password this time!)....
Small wins, but I am sat here glowing with satisfaction and celebrating with a tunnocks and coffee...
Git..😁
I haven't looked at mine yet ..but I also have the pleasure of doing the missus's too .
Thanks for the reminder though !
Yeah, did mine this morning. Always good to have plenty of notice of what you owe them!
As for wins, getting out recently acquired rescue Pomeranian pup to stop barking at every car she sees has been pretty satisfying.
Fitted a new groupset, made initial adjustments on the workstand, went for a ride to check everything out and didn't need to adjust anything. WIN.
Getting in my car after the wife has driven it and managing to get the seat to the right position first time.
My campervan started first time yesterday after sitting since late September on the drive, brought a smile to my face. 30 years old this year and turned over no problem. It felt great cos I thought I was in for a tough day in the engine bay.
*MOT and service next week could still return to haunt me but for now, I win!
Receiving unexpected beer and plate of sausage rolls and pizza slices at childrens party attended by my sons (well done to hosts for excess catering!).
Newly fitted tubeless road tyres going on by hand, seating with a track pump and staying up overnight.
