Is there anywhere central london that welds/repairs things like bikes, same day?
my sons e-scooter needs the steering column welded. The original weld cracked. It looks like aluminium
In thailand Id take it to the nearest moto shop and theyd have it done half an hour later for a couple of quid
But this is a first world country too, right?
I've doe exactly that with a pub bike, local garage, picked up next day, couple of quid.
Aluminium may be trickier though...

They did the job, weren't particularly cheap but then again, I don't have the skills to do it so was happy to pay
I've the skills, but not the equipment.
Are there any of these places with all the gear, that you can do your own work?
Where you pay by the hour to use their tools etc?
