Does an SLX cassette have a carrier like an XT cassette to avoid chewing up a Hope Pro II free hub?

yep, SLX has 3 largest cogs on a 'carrier' and XT has 6 or 7.

my xt has still chewed up the hope freehub on that smallest cogs
