Looking for a new sleeping bag for a bit of bikepacking/touring, needs to be small pack size as needs to go on the bars and not silly expensive !
ideas please

Depends on how cold/warm you sleep and what temperatures you expect to encounter.

Are you bigger than 6ft or bigger chest than 46". If so you may need a long bag and some makes may be too narrow.

Assuming average size - for light and compact you need down.

What about 330g good for +8C. Probably colder if you wear a bit of clothing inside. £211

Scotroutes good call, or a Vango ultralight, whatever the 2-3 season model is our Snugpack Chrysalis.
