A friend recommended skipping as a good CV exercise and said it can also be beneficial to me as a volleyball player. Fine.

As you do, I had a quick search on t'internet for skipping related stuff and came across the video linked below. Now, don't get me wrong, I'm sure a lot of skill goes into this and they've practised a lot, but the guy that strolls in at 42 seconds just cracked me up, especially at 1:10. It's the sort of thing those Python chaps could've been proud of.

Love that video.
Especially the fact you cannot really see the skipping rope.

I know a guy who does very similar stuff to much of that, all the round the body stuff, somersaults etc., except with a pair of long chain nunchuks. Somehow it looks a lot less stupid with a pair of great big dangerous looking things.

I can skip really well (no not with the skipping rope). How sad was that day when I realised that?
