I must have missed it? Surely the STW crew have a ton of Daily Mail views on this one?
My view-
Hes not a scape goat, just the only one with who nearly brought down a bank that needed to be bailed out by the public and had a knighthood that we could take away.
If the public and media want to treat him like a scapegoat then thats a separate thing and nothing to do with the honours system....

If he got the knighthood for services to banking (which I guess he did), it's totally correct to take it away.
