[Closed] Single handed pepper mill - one that won't break.

Not the most important topic in the world, but something I use daily in cooking and at the table.

I've had two of these now and both have broken (the clear ball cracks or separates) within a month or three. Anyone recommend something similar, but more reliable?

We were given a pair of battery powered mills (I'd never have bought them myself), but they're still going strong several years later.

Didn't fancy one using a battery, but might have to give them a look.

We've had a Chef'n g'rabbit for years and it's not broken.

Saying that - the wife bought it and I've never seen the need for one-handed mills over two-handed. I'm not seasoning food whilst holding a hostage at gunpoint or anything.

You don't have to force people to eat your cooking then?

A couple of years ago I reached new depths of sadness by seeking out salt and pepper grinder reviews. ๐Ÿ˜ณ

Very disappointed with my Cole & Mason set as they did not give many years service. They were replaced with a Robert Welch set and they haven't missed a, er, grind.

Not one handed but the WMF mills we've bought are good quality. Look for the ceramic ones.

Why one handed? And never rose battery ones....
