Was very tempted by Utility Warehouse (best deal I've found), but there rep is making me back away.. rapidly
So anyone want to comment on their monthly contract smartphone sim?
I can read the about the deals, but want to know about how good/bad the services actually are & any small print I should watch for...
Gigg gaff is looking promising deal wise but it means sticking with 02 and their network coverage @ home is pretty rubbish!
I've been on giffgaff for the last week or two and so far I'm impressed. I ported across from orange and the number transfer wasn't an issue.
Good things:
- Cheap - tenner a month for hundreds of minutes, unlimited texts and internet. Unlimited web is actually 100Mb per day, more than enough for me on a moderate use android.
- It works on O2,so I can actually get a signal at home (screw you everything everwhere liars)
Bad things:
- They're your best friend, mate! Stupid, annoying overly matey tone. All E-mails / messages seem to end with Champion! or Nice One!
- No tech support. No problem for me as I've never used it.
- It's PAYG, so you need to remember to top up, though I think there is an auto topup option.
If anyone wants to give it a go, I can link to a free sim offer with £5 credit on it. (You get a fiver credit every time you refer someone new)

Got a sim only with Vodafone via quidco 120 cashback.600 mins/unlimited texts/1gb data.20 a month. All good on a freebie HTC desire.
If you have coverage with the Three network, they're one of the cheaper ones (cashback deals aside).
