How can I remove my ITunes library from my current laptop and resync to a new laptop?
Can I go online, log into my account and de-mobilise the current lap top and assign to a new laptop?

Authorise the new laptop with one of your five 'authorize this machine' things. Copy your stuff to it. Then deauthorize the old machine.

If you just want to get music from the ipod there is also a free program called SharePod.
Very good for listening to music on an Ipod without ITunes
