Other radio/TV stations are available.
Failing that, turn the volume down while the idiots talk.

No DAB in the car Steve Wright on r2 is so bland it is like listening to beige 🙁 just cant do r1 anymore and I dont like Tennis.

Commercial radio is not an option.

R4 needs a good journey not good for dropping in and out.

Bowman standing in for Mayo and Kermode is awful.

Would generally agree about radio 4. But at this time of day it's you and yours. Occasionally good for an unintentional giggle, usually around the time they do a a bit of not the nine o'clock news/brass eye style consumer report. I keep expecting Chris Morris to appear on you and yours.

I like her, it is Radcliffe and Maconie who annoy me.

I bought a cheap Technika portable DAB from Tesco which takes rechargable AA batteries. I plugged it into the aux socket of my car audio and stuck it on the back seat. It gave perfect 6 Music reception all the way from South Wales to Manchester. It only crackled once - that was in the tunnel on the M4.

If you want sighing, listen to Victoria Darbyshire.

I love m.a.
She's my sons godmother.(really)
If you don't want to listen to her, turn off your radio.
I've noticed alot of hateful stuff about M.A. lately.
Some dunderheed wanted her killed the other day. WTF. 😯

Have you tried Radio 3? Seriously.

Leave MAH alone, if you find her love and passion for music distasteful to your sensibilities then turn it off otherwise go and have a moan on www.moaningcretin.com, MAH is quite possibly one of the nicest folk i have ever met and her taste in music is impeccable.

Radio 3 is a great alternative to bland commercial music.

I would like to disagree about Ms. Hobbs though. The Breezeblock sessions were, and still are, some of my favourite music.

Mary Anne Hobbs and Edith Bowman.

Mmmmm, I say. That I'd like to see

Two lovley ladies with a genuine passion for music. It might not be stuff that I like but hey, I like to hear new stuff - it might be something new that *I* like. If you don't like it, you don't have to listen

Exactly. All those complaining, would you like some cheese with your whine?

Seriously? What's wrong with LaLa? She's very intelligent, perceptive, hugely passionate about music, as a musician with hit singles and albums in her past, and very funny.
What's not to like?
Unless you're frightened by beautiful, intelligent women, of course...

I am. (that's not unique to beauty or intelligence though, or women)

Still, MAH and LaLa I like very much, I just wish MAH play more breezyblocky stuff when she is doing her supply teacher act.

I actively switch off Bowman and Huey Morgan.

I've always liked MAH, mainly because of the effect of the Breezeblock Sessions.

Radio 3 is a great alternative to bland commercial

I generally think that almost everything is a poor alternative to the magnificence of Radio 3.

I would like MAH to read me bed time stories.
Been away for 2 weeks, has anyone killed Keavney yet?
