Ours started on a site that used to have a double garage complete with concrete slab and inspection pit

I roughly shelved the inspection pit

slopped in some concrete to smooth it off

added a liner, bank of soil & some seeds (last summers poppy fest)

and this summer have a great wild life pond & mini meadow

lovin the lillys

had loads of shaggin frogs, tadpoles, ducks, damson flies, snails, some fish, water boatmen etc
Kids & adults love exploring it

I planted a meadow in front of my new studio. Lots of things are coming up but no flowers yet. I will post up a pic when they do.

They've visited a few times, annihilated the tadpoles, swam around a bit - then flew off.
