I was inspired to build this after a spell in Portland OR, soon came to my senses though. 12% climbs to get home were just too tough on old legs. It was great on the flat though.

Nah man wasn't aware of this site, thanks for the suggestion. I think it's quite interesting looking at peoples training/fixed gear bikes. : )

Few changes since this, open sports and longer stem on it now......oh, and the playhouse has had a lick of paint too.

Fixie Inc Peacemaker. My trusty commuter; it's been in daily use for a couple of years now. Running 43:19 for Sheffield hills.

Not very cool looking, rather bucking the fixie trend but it's perfect for my commute.

Currently running my Solitude monstercross as a fixed 29er. Flipped Mary bars, Restraps on flats (not pictured), BB7 front disk, 2.25" tyres. 34:16. Still fugly as sin. Still ace.

After doing this to my Langster

I built this up a few weeks ago.

Currently, 48:17, but picked up a 16t sprocket this morning so I'll see how that goes...

If anyone follows Fixie Dave Nice on Facebook, he's got photos of the fixed MTB he's riding the Tour Divide on this year. Looks sweet.
