Peloton on point with another ad.

Nothing says you're getting fat I love you more than an exercise bike for Christmas.

Buy her the underwear you hope she'll fit into too as a stocking filler.

Brilliantly mocked on twitter:

"116 lb woman's YEARLONG journey to becoming 112 lb"

Fitbit got a lot stick as well for their advert of the wife getting a fitness tracker.

"You've really let yourself go this year darling, here, try this fitness tracker. I'll be monitoring your progress on Strava".

Dreadful, dreadful adverts for all kinds of reasons.

The ad went viral. It worked. We're all talking about Peloton. Some sales will result. No sales will be lost.

I wouldn't risk it.

They'll be hoping enough to quickly bounce back from the below.

The criticism knocked the company's shares, which closed more than 9% lower on Tuesday.

Are your wardrobes full already?

Get her a Peleton. Then, if she takes offense, quickly pull out her surprise second present. An ebike motor.

Hopefully she'll be so confused she'll forget to ask how much your new bike cost.

Best not surprise anyone with anything otherwise someone will be offended for some reason or other...

Funnily enough I'm sure my wife would love one. There are probably good ways to express this in an ad, but this is not one of them. Unwittingly sinister and rightly mocked!

You have to be a tosser to want one and a tosser to buy one for someone so I guess that could work if you both are.

My wife would definitely by offended.

That's why I went for the safer option, vouchers for a stomach tuck and Liposuction 🙂

I’d just stick a photo of Kylie on the fridge to give her something to aim for.

Do it. But do it in the same way that Kato would surprise Clouseau with an exercise bike.

Are you really sorry, though?

I’d just stick a photo of Kylie on the fridge to give her something to aim for.

Then clear up the smashed bottles and mess afterwards.

Yes, then you’ll have something to hang things off at some point in the next three months.
