ok, im shipping a hardtail in few weeks from Scotland to Switzerland, im planning packing in a bike box from lbs, any stw have a rough guide of price and any recommendations of couriers to use, and tips, I know of inverting pedals, packing , protecting thoroughly....

Try a company called the black run couriers. They take gear by hand to the alps.
