Afternoon hive-mind!
My usual route out to the peaks has been to hit out from eccleshall park, but I've just moved over the hill to hillsborough. I was wondering if any of you lovely lot know of a more direct routes out from hillsborough?

cheeky ride up rivelin valley next to the stream/river. Pop out on the a57 then half a mile on the road to rivelin dams. Cross the dam and follow the bridleway up to redmires reevoirs. turn right round the resv's, then up past stanage pole to stanage edge. voila, dumped into the peaks 🙂
Or, when you pop out on the A57, head straight across to the bottom of the causeway to Crosspool, turn right up the permissive bridleway and have some technical fun all the way to Rivelin, cutting out the road.
