... another shed thread.

I am getting a shed built at my new house, and in the process of getting gardeners to do some landscaping and cutting back, ready for the shed build.

My gardener suggested I speak with his cousin who is the shed man. There are a lot of Italian cousins round here- the gardener is the cousin of my hairdresser.

I had a chat with shed cousin this morning, and he has suggested that he can build me a brick shed (5m*3m) for the same cost as the log cabin I have been looking at. The quote I have for the log cabin (not including base work) is just shy of £5k.

Is this possible? The brick route had not even occurred to me...

Cheers all.

Paul

I used to be a brickie.
If I could get £5K for building 5x3 sheds then I'd go back to doing it!!!

OK - not unrealistic then.

My wants are pitched roof, insulated, services (water and power) and upvc windows.

Internal partition wall to create a secure bike space. Not sure if I need this if the garage is made of brick though. That was part of the design with a wooden shed.
