Are there any free sites that allow you to send large files. This weekend I've been trying to send stuff by hotmail, gmail etc (approx 10MB) and they don't always arrive (those that do arrive take ages).

Are there free, reliable sites (ftp?) that allow you to upload and download instead?

thanks pook, though they charge for the service (bloody cheek, trying to make a living...)

any free alternatives or do I just have to sign up for the free trial on yousendit and cancel after 14 days?

yousendit don't, we use them all the time to send audio files to clients. Never been charged before and they're ace

Oh thanks Pook - I didn't read it properly. That looks ideal.

no worries. Use it enough and they give you desktop application, it's great!

Dropbox. the size of your free box depends on the number of "friends" who sign up
