50 ****ing P for a 2nd class stamp! Everyone's getting an email next year. It's cheaper to phone them, but you know, some family members you don't really want to speak to! 😕

For the prices they charge they should deliver in the ****ing evening when people are actually at home. And not in the day when norms are at work so you have to park and queue which was what you were trying to avoid in the first place.

I don't keep a note of anyones postal address anymore, haven't done so more more than 10 years, so I couldn't send most of the people I know a card even if I wanted to.

For relatives you dont like just send them a card, wishing them gratuitous seasons greetings, and just sign it with a first name and no stamp.

EASY.

That way the post office makes a profit,to pay the posties 11% pay rise, the relatives have to pay for the card and they dont know who its from.

one of my friends sent me an eXmas card from Great ormond Street... eCards are a nice idea but I do like getting a physical card however in these days where people keep friends email addresses, not home addreses, I can see eventually this will be the way to go.
