After a last minute booking.... supposed to be flying Monday on holiday for 2 weeks but daughter has chickenpox so flying is a no go!
Going to leave it a week and then go away for a week in UK.
Been to Cannock Chase a few times so going to head there - but this time after a cottage or similar that sleeps 5 (2 Adults, 3 kids).... any recommendations or sneaky suggestions?

I don't think there's a huge amount right next to the Chase - the only one I can think of is Dalraddy Cottage. Think there's a few more places a bit further north Stafford way.
A week at the chase seems a long time, besides walking and cycling there's not much else to do and the closest towns (Stafford & Cannock) are a bit uninspiring. I'd probably reconsider the destination iiwy.
We have done Dalraddy before - but its already been booked!
As for the week long - likely to be Mon-Fri 4 nights - so manageable in that area (maybe a train into Birmingham for a day)
