Is the maximum claim 30k? Or on purchases of 30k, so claim could be higher if the cost of rectification is higher, say due to crazy inflation.
So say value of item/service was £29.5k 10 months ago but due to inflation value is now £35k.

My guess is max £30k as that's what you paid for the purchase.
If it costs > £30k now then you're not covered.
Could be wrong but that's as I read it
