I watched Romancing the Stonen for full 80’s nostalgia this am.
Contact is dreadful it’s the only film I walked where out of the cinema on.

I see 'The Shining' has been released on Amazon prime so that's my night sorted, no beer in the house but i do have a bottle of potcheen from a mate so i'll give that a try.

Watched District 9 yesterday whilst recovering from tonsillitis. Forgot how good it is.

I watched The Martian Chronicles recently, which took me back to my childhood TV.
Started watching Cargo last night but was shattered so it didn't get finished. So far it's quite good if a little odd.
Will get through the rest tomorrow.

Watched Blade Runner again the other night. Still find it amazing.
Arrival was one of my favourites when I saw it last year. Worth a watch.
Not really sci but enjoyed "Tucker & Dave vs Evil" last night.

Good call above on Attack the Block. Follow up with Wrath of Khan then, once you're pissed*, Event Horizon.
