Just spent two hours reading reviews and still no wiser!! I currently have an aging TomTom but want one with European maps for the summer hols. What's the best model TomTom or Garmin?? Cheers

If yes what satnav can you get for that?
We used our old Tom Tom One last summer when I realised at the last minute that the Sat Nav in my company car was only major roads of europe. Worked great, as it always did, screen seemed tiny compared to what I'm used to, but I prefer it to the built in sat navs in both our cars.
It must be 5 years old and it's ace, so I'd imagine the newer ones are even better.
I use TomTom on my iPhone and love it. Updates the traffic info every 3 minutes or something ridiculous like that and does all the really useful things like dropping the volume of music as it speaks the directions. I have a Parrot hands free and it all works together REALLY well.
