After over 5 years of trusty service, my Caterpillar boots are soon to give up the ghost.
Had a look around but not much is catching my eye and Caterpillar seem a bit 90's now.....so whats a good tough boot these days?
Off to look at some US websites and I've heard Redwing banded around but 200+ quids a bit steep
Those white soles on the redwing boots look like they'll get ****ed in ten minutes.
Redwing boots are awesome once they are worn in.
Mine are the best boots I've ever had, as comfy as wearing slippers.
10 years or so I've had them and they still look decent.
That's the ugliest shoe I have ever seen!!
no, no.. you're quite wrong..
that is the most elegant shoe that you have ever seen, your perception just needs a slight adjustment..
Those shoes...were they designed for people without any toes?
Been looking for (cheaper) alternatives to Red Wing myself; one good contender is Chippewa.
Currently rocking these on the streets of San Fran Bristol

There are 'bargains' to be had, got some Redwing moc toes brand new off the bay for £105.
I have large and abnormally wide feet, coupled with narrow heels. Those boots look just the ticket for me!
Boots are for countryside working or walking. Shoes are for the city.

Pony skin is where it's at, Caterpillar skin is so 2 years ago.
