hello there, i wnat to update the firmware on my tv but cant find the correct file, model is a samsung le40f86bdx/xeu
also, on my old network in bristol i could watch a movie off my pc harddrive on my xbox, that was with vista, with 7 i cant get windows media player or media centre to link to the pc, vuze works fine so its not firewall, media centre on my pc just cant find it!

2 things here - unless you are 100% certain that what you are doing with the firmware is correct, don't do it - I followed the instructions and still bricked mine - cost me £230 for a new PCB and I'm not convinced the tv's been the same since.
As for the media sharing - you have to set WMC to accept sharing - see link
