Anyone got one of these? What do you think of it?

Cheers

Had one for a week, while getting used to it so I could tell Dad how to use it.

For £238 (plus £50 cashback at the time) it was ruddy brilliant - beautiful screen etc.

A LITTLE jerky, but I thought a great bit of kit for the money.

Love ours, better screen than the nexus imo. The stereo speakers are great when watching movies.
Posted from my galaxy tab.

I've got a Galaxy Note 10.1, and it is very good - worth the extra over the Tab for the pen with palm sensing tech ( if you rest your hand on the screen when using the pen the tablet doesn't register it ).

I bought one in october ... about three weeks before the price dropped 🙁
Happy with it though and gets lots of use as my laptop is buggered.

Just got a note 10.1 and really like it.

The pen is much more useful than I thought it would be. Using that and ezPDFreader and its absolutely brilliant for annotating journals and stuff.

Edit: £50 Samsung cashback offer for anyone who bought one between 24th Oct and 31st Dec. Also applicable to Tab 10.1

whats the difference between the note and the 'non note', is it just the pen?

From memory the Note has a faster processor and more ram, but the pen is the big difference.

I bought my father one for Christmas. Had a play while setting up and it seems very, very good indeed.

I may have to buy one myself to replace my now ageing Xoom!

Oh, and the Samsung cashback thing is hideously bad! Almost as if they've done it so that you either forget or give up!

Bought mine a few months back - really love it. Compared to the clunky Acer Iconia I had before, it's really user-friendly and a joy to use.

I also went through the Samsung Cashback thing - and on 16 December I had an email saying my claim had been validated and I could now look forward to a wait of up to 30 days to receive my £50, with an additional note to wait an extra 5 working days for bank delays!

Can't fault the tablet though. Bloddy marvellous.

I briefly had a Note 10.1, it was terrible so I sent it back and replaced it with a nexus which is better in every respect.

If you want an idea of the screen resolution on the tab, look at a nexus screen then squint till it all looks blurry and you're about right.

I think the note has a slightly faster processor as well. I havce the note and it's a great device.

The Tab 10.1 2 is fine, not the fastest, bestest display etc but for the money works very well. We bought one to share and then bought a second one as the sharing wasn't working. Got the £50 back just before Christmas, does feel like they have made it deliberately hard to claim, just on the right side of it being dodgy (eg they lost my claim, I thought here we go but they did sort once I chased them).

Galaxy tab 2 10.1 has a dual core processor and 1gb ram, and is thinner than the note. Galaxy 10.1 note has a newer quad core processor and 2 gb ram and the pen.

I've got both the tab 10.1 and the note 10.1. The tab 10.1 has a broken wifi antenna though, so is next to useless now.

I bought the note 10.1 from john lewis for £280 on 31st december, so with the cashback that will make it £230, which i reckon is a bargain.

They're both pretty good, but the note is better.

I also have the Google nexus 7 , but I reckon the note is superior in every way except for screen resolution/Dots per inch.
