Is it worth getting measured for a Specialized saddle?

Your experience / comments pls.

6ft and approx 15st fully laden and in need of a new saddle. Current Madison one has been good for general short rides but in need of one that is comfy for long days of mixed riding.

Brooks B17. Not lightweight, takes a couple of (hundred) miles to break in, awesome once broken in (or your butt breaks to it's shape)

It is worth getting your sit bones measured full stop. It enables you to make an informed choice when it comes to saddles as you'll know which widths are suitable. It then boils down to shape (yours & the saddle) and personal preference.

In my opinion its down to personal comfort, everyone is different. I went through a few before arriving at the Titec Ithys. Great wee thing to plonk your butt on
