Well this is going better than expected. Not a very productive WFH day so far for me….

I’m in Gothenburg, with Swedish commentary on tv, but yay! the Solheim Cup was a great appetiser last week. USA very poor today. How on Earth they lost the 15th to McIlroy/Fleetwood, sums them up really.

Enjoying the coverage on 5LIVE. Not a massive golf fan, but do like not hearing "YOUESSAY! YOUESSAY! YOUESSAY! ".

USA struggling due to the ban on LIV players?

Either way it's glorious to see. Hovland and Aberg this morning 😱

USA players on LIV circuit were all eligible for selection - but only as captain's picks.
Only Koepka was selected.

Some amazing matchplay 4some golf played this morning. USA haven't been great but the scoring by Europe was insane. Rahm chipping in from everywhere.

I know they started it but the partisanship is a bit too much for me - by all means cheer louder for the Europeans but shouldn't be booing the Americans.

Good to see USA coming back this afternoon. I want Europe to win but I want a contest too.

seems like it's been kicking off in the clubhouse and car park after hours! Promises to be interesting tomorrow if the crowd start niggling at Cantley and others.

Stolen from twitter (nsfw) - the referee's briefing tomorrow morning

I'm not a golf fan but Cantley's caddie seemed like a right ****. Is golf like cricket where sledging is part of the game? And does that extend to the bag carriers wandering about the green too?

Caddies taunting players as they're waiting to putt seems...excessive. Was there anything which led up to it?
