My wife's the runner, I run a few miles a week before everyone in the house wakes up. Never done anything like this before, and I'm looking forward to it.
We're running together to raise money for the hospice that looked after my mother in law for her final weeks last year, so deffo a good inspiration to finish the thing!

A great race. Always loads of support. Hope the wind is light for the final few miles along the seafront and enjoy the slog up Queensway 🙂
Nice one. It's a tough route. Â the hills from the ridge down onto the seafront can be as tough on the legs as the climbs.
There were a few people being carted away in ambulances, fingers crossed nothing too serious. I think a few people got caught out by the weather, it was freezing at the start. The sun came out and I think some people had hydration issues.
Potholes were a pita, too.
