Crikey. Exhausted!

A win is a win, but that wasn't great. Samoa were very good, it must be said. Wales just too nervous or something.

Now for the soap opera. Tindall spotted opening the envelope with divorce papers from Zara? Dwarf tossing as half time warm up for the subs?

On that evidence, my money would be on Ireland if we play them in the quarters.

Georgia wasting possession. They should be going for their line-outs. Yellow card not far off for England surely.

17:10 I would have taken that yesterday. Job done. Seems odd to pick Charteris and not throw the ball at him in the lineout and the Samoans did a great job at the breakdown by flooding past the tackle and not going through the gate, thereby stopping Wales getting to the tackle, fairly sure its illegal but the ref seemed to be just looking at the tackled player.

Yeahh AA needs to send a written apology to Falataeu, nice save

what for, falling on a loose ball? Still dont rate him, would have much preferred Ryan Jones at 8 in the last two matches, with Toby on the bench. His control at the base of scrum was poor, he's not a lineout option, doesnt break tackles, runs into contact too upright close to the ruck, tackles tirelessly and works hard in rucks though. He will come good in time but currently lacks the power to play 8 at that level. Was great to see Gethin back, hopefully he can start the next two games and be ready for a 1/4 final. Fingers crossed Bennett and Lydiate recover because Burns is rubbish and Powell is still Powell

AA, you meany. I thought he was good in this and the last game. It was more than falling on the ball he was watching like a hawk. Good sentry.

England. What did I say, we will look shit and just squeak it.(fingers crossed)

Second half looking good.

How many tries did Scotland let through against Georgia?

Englnd backs are looking good, forwards so so.

Its not even a full strenth Georgia side.

Georgia for the bonus point anyone ๐Ÿ˜€ Well maybe not but if the guy had taken his kicks then England would be behind.

Yeah Ireland if they play well are a slightly better team but Wales can beat them. I also wouldnt take that Wales performance as evidence, Samoa really do have the hoodoo on Wales.

Forgot to add in my last post that 1/2p looked much better than Hook at 15. He is willing to hit the line from deep which can help unlock a blitz defence, wonder how he'd cope if pressured by a good irish kicking game though?

That Georgian 7 and 8 look very impresive.

Front row are solid too.

he's a player in the making for sure I just think he is currently lacking composure and a bit of power. Dont think he has done the basic 8 work well enough, bit like when England have Hask at 8, he is good in defence, carries well in the open, but lacks control and power in close and England could do with the far less dynamic Pie Eater at 8.

Fitzpatrick just alluded to the decision to bring Thompson on and put 7 against 8 in a scrum on your own line. Crazy, no?

Hats off to England backs they do look good. But maybe its just the Georgian defence that helps with that.

I know it must be hard, but just for once, seeing as everyone's cheered for Wales and Ireland, could the other home nations bury their tiresomely childish hatchet and just be happy that England have actually turned up?
