Singing Swing Low during Fiji’s Cibi.

Classy.

The Irish sang over the haka. Why didn't you comment on that?

Adams cynical body check that started the ruckus.

Yeah saw that, stupid was just wondering where the shoulder to head was?

It's a song with racist connotations (that the RFU and their own players have asked them not to sing) being sung at a group of POC performing an important part of the their culture.

Like I said, classy.

To be fair, it probably wasn't the best week to sing Jerusalem and who wants to sing God Save the King but maybe if there aren't any good options for responding to the challenge people can just shut the **** up for once?

As much as I think its a fairer run if Fiji go forward, England are outplaying them today, which cant be argued with.  It does not make them a good team though, and they will get embarrassed by France or such Africa.

Good entertaining game, with England deserving their lead. Fiji need to stop conceding silly penalties.

However same as yesterday, the teams in the 8 o'clock game won't be too worried about what they saw in the 4 o'clock game.

Another good match. Fair play to Fiji in the last 20 minutes, made a game of it.

Apparently Ben Earle has won the whole tournament judging by his celebration 😳

How could you tell it was a deliberate knock on? Because when he thought he might be in trouble the Faz limp appeared.

That was intense.

If Fiji had pushed through and got that a last try I’d have applauded them.

Congratulations England.

I never get tired of the way Farrell fakes injury when he's done wrong - a penalty try in the 84th minute would have been hilarious 😂

C'mon France!!

I have mixed feelings.   As an England supporter its great that they are through.  However, the accomplishment is tainted by knowing they had an easier route and better teams will exit before them because of that.   It also grates a bit that the whole setup is a bit shit, yet now they have enough enough the bank to claim credit against that.

A good game though, probably at the pinnacle of both teams ranking in the world.

As a Scotland fan (who wanted Fiji to win), there's nothing tainted about it. You can only beat what's in front of you and England have done very well. Okay they aren't the greatest England team  ever, by some considerable way, but they are in a semi-final. Something Scotland couldn't do.

But huge plaudits to Fiji. Some moments of utter brilliance today, just let down by conceding daft penalties. I've loved watching them though. Hopefully world rugby will encourage them (and teams like Georgia, Portugal etc), but the reality is that they won't.

Yeah, Kenny x2 I wouldn’t have cared if the entire Irish squad had been eaten by the Kraken on the eve of our game. You can only beat what is in front of you and Engerland have won all their games. Not sure they are as good as the commentators are currently suggesting mind!

Another good game England at least played with some self belief for long periods. Not likely to make the final though.  Weeks and weeks ago some podcaster (can't remember which) said the tournament would be book ended by matches between NZ and France. I did'nt believe him ,  looks like he'll be right though

He's known nothing about rugby since 2003. No idea why they keep rolling him out.

SCW is still living off 2003 rugby. He has very little of use to offer the analysis

Let's be honest, Gregor Townsend finding a mythical sea monster with a Scottish granny (Loch Ness monster?) before the next Six Nations is probably our best chance of glory.

And maybe a Sasquatch or two in the back row.

Determined and disciplined defence triumphed yet again.  Defence rather attack has been a feature of this tournament

He was highly regarded @ 2003. The bloke did well in his day. Hope I'm still relevant in 20yrs time. Doubt it somehow 🤔

Fiji had a confusing 20mins that lost them the game. Honestly I can england in the final by playing turgid rugby. Admittedly that was the best they have played Farrell can still do one with that pained expression.

Laws had good game as did smith despite being battered

Not at all. Despite not playing well they beat every team and got further than they were expected to. Doubt they’ll get through the semi but love to see it.

I reckon I’m pig headed but AA and TJ take it to another level.
Although I think I would enjoy their company in real life, sometimes on here it becomes hard work! I hope to meet them at a game one day, Ospreys v Glasgow maybe?
