Morning STWers.

I'm moving to Tewkesbury area quite soon. I've also noticed it's quite flat.

What's the nearest best riding?

The Malvern Hills are close, I also know of Leckhampton and Bredon Hill (I've not ridden either yet) - are there any other good areas nearby to visit on the bike?

Tewkesbury is indeed flat. Lovely road riding around there though.

For more knobbly-tired pursuits you've covered it really - Malvern and the Cotswolds (Lecky, Bredon and Cleeve hills being your nearest points)

Look up Ashton MTB, they're based not far away and are a friendly bunch.

be prepared for mud in winter. there are a few tracks on Bredon to pass some time. Cleeve is the dryest winter, cranham is fun on a dry summers evening.

more than happy to show you round Bredon , Broadway area has some good stuff - Buckland Stanton and few more . Ashton MTB aren't doing club rides til March . have a look at About bikes site one of the LBS's in the area, they do regular shop rides . ๐Ÿ™‚

Forgot to check back in on this thread - doh!

Thanks for suggestions and offers all - we're not moving there for a little while yet (probably a couple of months).

FoD is good, I'm already a semi-regular visitor ๐Ÿ™‚
