Casa OTS is a late 70s build with concrete roof tiles. A few houses nearby have had a roof treatment applied - red or grey.
The blurb says it increases life of the roof, stops moss yada yada yada
I’m not keen, but I’m curious to know if it does anything beyond making it look nice for a short while.

It’s bullshit foisted upon the vulnerable and gullible. Turns a roof you’ve been able to ignore for half a century into one you now need to repaint every few years as it’ll fade and peal
what danger does moss pose to concrete? Under what circumstances concrete less durable than paint?
The money would be better spent on a re-tile when needed. The weak link is degradation of the wooden battens and underfelt (we have a late 60's vintage similar roof where I've had to make some repairs underneath - the tiles are eroded on the edges but otherwise seem fine).
The prices I'd seen quoted were half way or more to a re-roof anyway. And any doorsteppers trying to sell the stuff say the tiles only last 40 years unless coated in their wonder paint (then go vague when you say therefore at 50 odd years old they must already be knackered so pointless painting them).

You'll also get more risk of roof damage and erosion from them walking on it and jetwashing.
This is like the foam treatment they used to sell, basically it ruins the roof making any repair a re-roof.
Having worked for a tile manufacturer totally agree with what the others have said it's a pointless exercise. If the roof isn't leaking it doesn't need fixing.
