The accent is the least of the film's problems, the principles being terrible direction and editing.

I like costner and his escapades to WAR WICK castle

Morgan Freeman is an excellently cast Moor as well

Should have had Danny De veto as Little John and it would have been perfect casting.

The Costner version was great fun, apart from Kevin Costner.
He only has one facial expression - constipated squirrel.
The Errol Flynn version is surely the best film though - not a buckle un-swashed.

Not Ridley Scott's finest hour, really.
'Specially after watching Blade Runner again the other night.

have you seen the kevin costner version of robin hood?????

Many times, it's excellent. ๐Ÿ™‚
Anyone seen the other Robin Hood that came out at about the same time as RH-POT? The one starring Patrick Bergin and Uma Thurman. That was another rubbish interpretation of the story.

No, Richard Greene was the best ever.

(It was in the days of black and white TV)

At least the Costner version had Alan Rickman.
(I can't believe that was 1991)

Unfortunately it also had that awful No1 Bryan Adams song
