Yeah, I used to love those books
(the lady who did the *magnificent* English translations died fairly recently too)

Yes, I did feel a touch ‘dusty’ when I read the news.

Hours and hours of enjoyment that man gave me...

Anthea Bell was the English lady. Fantastic books that I loved as I was growing up and then introduced my children to. The sky has indeed fallen on our heads.

Asterix and TinTin were the books I grew up with. Loved them. Still got the full collection in the loft.

Me as a kid trip to the library and I'd make a beeline for the Asterix books.
