Oh dear

Oh what happened to you?
Whatever happened to me?
What became of the people, we used to be?

RIP

Bob: Nobody cares, nobody's moved by the occasion.
Terry Collier: Residents are, moved to a highrise

Very funny series. Sad to hear of his death.

RIP, and more sad that his falling out with James Bolam in the 70s was never resolved, I believe.

Never really 'got it' with the likely lads when it first came out (I was a kid). Been listening to the radio versions on 4extra when they've been on and there's a lot to like there.

Very sad. Sad to lose a friend in that way and very sad that he has died.

The Likely Lads were comedic anti-heroes to me - just like Fletch & Godber... Wonderful comedy with brillliant, understated acting.

Bye Bob...

Growing up in the north east in the 60s/70s the Likely Lads felt more like a documentary to us kids.

RIP marra.
