I saw The Spy Who Loved Me when I was 9 years old. He was "my" Bond villain.

He was on a Radio 4 programme only last weekend, I assume now it was very pre recorded, as they were asking if he would come back in to JB again.

He will need a big box!

Awe, that's rather sad. I too was listening to R4 about Bond too.. My he had a croaky voice..
