Shocking and sad news, Amy Dombroski has been announced dead after a training accident involving another vehicle. Gutting another top cyclist and this time a cyclocross racer who I had enjoyed watching race on numerous streamed broadcasts from belgium and dutch tv.

Just ignorantly curious, Can anyone enlighten me why Belgium is so popular as a training destination for road pros?.

The big money for cross is in belgium as well as the heritage and main events, america is growing but it lacks a certain ambience.

Sad sad news.
CX is massive in Belgium - fans go mad for it, it's where you need to go to be a Pro.
