Of Suicide fame, [url= http://www.rollingstone.com/music/news/alan-vega-suicide-singer-and-punk-icon-dead-at-78-w429537 ]passed away at the age of 78[/url].
He and Martin Rev played the most viciously uncompromising live set I've ever heard when they were supporting MBV a few years back.
And they were over 70 at the time.
They were a [i]bit[/i] more approachable on record fortunately...

Yeah I love that first Suicide album. Such a unique sound 🙁

Yeah, what the other's said. Fabulous, original and influential. Still sounds brilliant now, which is a mark of the greats.
