Our neighbour has a big bull terrier type dog and I'm sure that if I asked them the breed they would tell me that it's an Estonian Bull Terrier or some such to disguise that it's a Pitbull cross..

I've had a Staffie in the past and I think they're lovely silly soppy old things but next time I feel ready for a dog I'm going for one of these..

Wow, that looks like something out of a horror movie.
I´ve always kept rottweilers but those things could eat them for breakfast.
.....wonders if its possible to get one...

Bit disturbing, that set of pics really.

There's a good few pitbulls round my way; asked a copper once how it was that people seemed to be allowed to keep 'illegal' dogs. He said the problem was that the law isn't clear enough about this, and if a dog has DNA of a non-banned type, people can claim it's of this type, rather than a 'banned' breed. And unless a dog has attacked someone, it's very difficult to take any action against the owners. Meaning they strut around with their weapon dogs acting the biggun, the tossers.

I have nothing against the dogs, it's the owners what are the problem. Plenty of 'legal' type dogs about what are properly dangerous. Bloke near me used to run a pub, owned two nasty Rotties. Would get them to bark at '****s'. Horrible ****. One night someone lobbed poisoned meat over into the back garden, dogs ate it and died. Shame they coon't get him to eat any....
