We have a wall on the front of the house which is in need of replacement. Obvious choice is to rebuild but any other ideas on what we could do or what might look good?
This is what we have:

What’s wrong with the wall that’s there?

It's starting to crumble in quite a few places..and, generally, looks knackered.

I’d get a brickie to have a look at it with a view to repair and repoint. It doesn’t look that bad in that picture and, crucially for me, it matches the house.
I’d be aiming to retain it if at all possible.

As an option I would be going for a hedgerow in laurel as long as you are prepared to keep it well managed - it's evergreen and when nicely established will give a lovely thick finish.

Unicorns instead of lights on the gateposts - you know it makes sense!...

I thik if you go full unicorn you need to have them facing the other way and up on their hind legs like an arch.

How about a rainbow into a pot of gold?

My daughters would love the unicorns 🤣
When we bough it there was loads of ivy and conifers covering it, looked really bad. Looks beyond repair to me:
