I am to replace the front door. Any experience of composite/pvc/wood and any recomendations as to who cna fit it in the Northwest?

there have been threads on this before. First question what is the orientation of your door? north, south, east or west.
Composite doors are the most thermally effective.
If you have a south facing door stick to a pale door.
As for installers i can't help, what i will warn you any guarantee is with the installer, and builders have a nasty habit of going bust. do not assume that a ten year guarantee will mean a ten year guarantee.
I live in a period property that has a modern front door and I hate it with a passion.
