Appeared to be the present of choice for the discerning beer drinker and appeared on a few Xmas present threads.

Mines gotten old, and toothless.

What to replace it with?

Yeah get a nice big shiny gold tooth fixed into it. Epoxy resin can do almost anything!

All the plastic around the mouth is pretty brittle, think any repair would struggle to last tbh.

The Jonny catch one is nice, I might get one for the kitchen.

The Motorhead is good for the shed but a bit rich for me.

As for the duck, I'd forget it was a bottle opener.

If you want something like that that’ll never wear out, you want a proper cast-iron bottle opener:

https://hartwoodtimber.co.uk/product/cast-iron-wall-mounted-bottle-openers/?msclkid=c6414aadc5f11e2669212a47f4913a20&utm_source=bing&utm_medium=cpc&utm_campaign=Product%20Feed&utm_term=4588124584003130&utm_content=House%20Signs

It’s also very cheap. No home should be without several old-school cast-iron bottle openers, I’ve got a couple, one of them is older than I am, so probably getting on for eighty years old as it belonged to my parents from long before I was born.
Like this one:

The original Demon frameworks bottle opener is an item of heft. I use a Park Tools BO-3.

Not enough plastic/landfill potential. Boring.
